BABOR cares – BABOR is also involved in causes beyond the cosmetics industry and is concerned about issues even outside of its home town of Aachen. BABOR Cosmetics faces the international responsibilities of a major global player, supporting social and cultural projects around the world and promoting ecologically conscious business practices.

Every year, the BABOR advent calendar – filled with 24 precious skin care ampoules and creams – makes for a beautiful run-up to Christmas. In 2008, BABOR Cosmetics will make a contribution to dolphin aid with every advent calendar sold. The aim of this organisation is to give as many disabled children as possible the chance to experience dolphin therapy. Today, dolphin aid has made the therapeutic treatment possible for over 700 children – and we aim to increase this number with our BABOR advent calendars!


With ingredients like pure glacier water, edelweiss extract and lady’s smock oil, the new baborganic line features completely organic skin care products for the face and body which reflect the purity and nature of the Alps unlike any other. BABOR Cosmetics has decided to protect this unique piece of nature and is currently supporting the Alpine protection group CIPRA Germany (“Commission Internationale pour la Protection des Alpes”) in its plans to construct an interactive nature centre.


BABOR Cosmetics has supported the world-renowned Charlemagne Prize for over 15 years. Award winners include former US President Bill Clinton, Pope John Paul II and Chancellor Angela Merkel.
