BABOR was founded almost
50 years ago by Dr. Babor.
The BABOR brand dates back to 1955, when Dr. Michael Babor patented a hydrophilic face cleansing oil under the name by which it is still known today: HY-ÖL®.
In 1962 the Aachen-based entrepreneur Dr. Leo Vossen acquired the company Dr. BABOR GmbH & Co. KG, and moved its headquarters to Aachen.
